Monday Monday Monday - oh deep joy

Evening Dons,

welcome to another week of Wimbledon Rugby.

Fishwick Sevens

For those of you in attendance on Saturday - what a day - so first up we have a message from Anna:

Jack Fishwick Sevens
On Saturday we had 21 teams taking part in the second Jack Fishwick Sevens, luckily the weather was on our side, it was an awesome day. A massive thank you to all of those people who came down to help, support, donated funds and prizes, those who played and to all of the staff who worked their socks off, without all of you the day could not have happened. We are still doing the final sums but we will let you know as soon as we know how much we have raised. Thanks again Anna

I would just like to say a massive thank you from all of us to Anna for all her hard work getting the day going - so when you next see Anna - buy her a pint - she deserves one.

Routine:
After all the excitement of last weekend we are back to normal this week - men's training is at the usual times - Bully is co-ordinating. Ladies you have pre-season continuing this Wednesday with your Bounce gym session on Thursday.

The Flying Garvey
To further the fund-raising from last weekend - beloved club Physio Stephen Garvey is doing the London Surrey 100 next weekend. A pund from all of us will make a huge difference to his tally - so go on big lad!

The Ball
Right as we finalise the details on this, as in the table plan - this really is getting to be the last opportunity to get involved. It will be a stonker of an evening.

If you still want a table - email the organisers here:ball150@wimbledonrfc.co.uk.
Also any photos from the last 150 years of the club - get them scanned and sent here: secretary@wimbledonrfc.co.uk

And Finally......
Right this bit today is more of a challenge for the men of the club. Every year the Ladies side go off on some fab tours and in the gentleman's side - we have been rather lacking in this .......... there has been some suggestion that every weekend at the club is like a Tour - but that is not good enough!

So to get the ball rolling, as some of you have been asking, we need a few guys to put there hands up to help organise tour for the end of the season.Who wants the roll of being a living legend for the season - to be King of the Fun - to be the Big Cahoona Burger?!!!! It could be you......

Right enough from me. I'm going back to the Sett to nurse my still banging head from Saturday.

Big Love

Badger
