Best Day of the week!

Goooooood afternoon Ye Mighty Dons!

The title says it all. Friday is the best day of the week for me. The anticipation of a jam packed rugby-fest at Beverley Meads. It doesn't half warm the cockles!
So what mouth-watering delights do we have in store for this weekend?

First up on Saturday we have the 1st XV at home against Tonbridge Juddians - a really stern test for our high flyers - so a good loud touchline is very much encouraged to make a great occasion of this one.
The 2nd XV are also at home - playing Old Albanians Romans - so do keep an eye out for them.
Those flash-happy chappies the 3rd XV are away at Old Cranleighans - looking to continue their good run of form.
Finally at 3pm we see a welcome return to playing of the club's old boys - the Strollers. They are at home against Kingston at 3pm as well. If you see them n- give them a wave.
Sunday next - I believe that is the usual progression of a weekend. After the rough and tumble of the minis and youth the fabulous Wimbledon Ladies head away to London Welsh for their next league fixture.

To all our teams - the very best of luck - 1st and 2nd XV team line ups are below.

As usual this Saturday we are having a supporters lunch - as we always do when the 1st XV are at home. We would especially like to invite our friends at the Windmilers and the netball gang to come and join us. It is ONLY £12/head for some fabulous food with excellent company - I believe it is lamb on the menu this week. If you would like to join in please email our chairman John "the sidestep" Woods on johnwoods.wrfc@gmail.com to let him know you intend to partake. Please can we get those in before close of business today.

Right last message from me - a reminder about the Halloween party on October 29th - theme "Bad Taste Halloween" - £5/head. I do not need to say any more than that. Posters are going up in the clubhouse - please invite whom-so-ever you may wish. This should be a real goodie.

Last last message from me - many thanks to Mike "Doc" Wilde, who has taken up the post of the club's medical consultant/representative to help us be a safer and more pro-active club when concerned with our player's welfare.

Right - that's ACTUALLY enough from me.

Have a very fabulous weekend everyone and see you tomorrow.

Big Love
