All Games are ON

Hi Ho Ye Mighty Dons!

Gosh - it's a chilly one this Friday at Badger Towers. I have spent ages dusting the frost off my typewriter and quite frankly if my butler doesn't return shortly with more fuel for the fire - he will understand how cold it really is when I make him sleep outside. Anyway - here we are again - another Friday before a full on action packed weekend. Lots to get through and a few notices at the end - so bear with me.

First up - as of time of writing - ALL GAMES ARE ON THIS WEEKEND. Keep your eyes on the emails in case of late changes but at present we are good to go! Brilliant.

This Saturday sees the first full out run out for all the men's sides. The 1s and 2s welcome Southend to the club, whilst the Mavericks will be playing Old Cranleighans - also at home. The Strollers are back as well and away to Kingston. Team sheets for the 1s and 2 are located below.

On Sunday the Ladies XV travel to Plymouth for their game. Have a great game ladies and a fab coach trip. Let's look to keep 2017 in the order you left it last week!

Right - onto other notices.

Barham Road - we have had reports from some of our neighbours that people are speeding down the road to and from the club. Please can we remember this is a residential area and to keep up good relations with our neighbours, please take extra care. If you are down on Sundays mornings - please remember the car park is very busy and if you do park nearby - please be aware of other drivers using the road, do not block drives (I know it seems obvious but still...) and if possible - don't drive to the club. Cycling or public transport are always good options and if you do drive - try and park away from Barham road and walk round.

Bus Trip to Tonbridge - we are getting aa good response to the request for the supporters bus to Tonbridge next weekend. Please let me know if you, or any friends want to attend. We are looking at taking a fun bus down there to cheer on the lads in this top of the table clash and the more the merrier. Strollers and Ladies teams I am looking at you. Let me know at matthewbenwell@yahoo.co.uk if you want to come and how many of you there are.

Quiz Night - the quiz night returns on the 24th February - do keep this date in your diary for more notices to come shortly.

Comedy night - yeah that's happening too. Keep your eyes peeled for posters around the club.

Right - that's enough nonsense from me. I'm off to burn my butler for fuel. Good luck to all our players and coaches this weekend!

See you tomorrow!

Big Love
