Friday Badgerings

Good Afternoon Ye Mighty Dons!

......and isn't a gloriously autumnal Friday? A crisp tingle in the air, the crunch of leaves underfoot and, most importantly, the prospect of claret and blue rugby but one night's sleep away! Yeah - you should have that Friday feeling too!

OK so here's the skinny for the weekend!

The 1st XV welcome Canterbury to the club tomorrow for a 3pm kick off - looking for that elusive first win of the season. The performances have been building, the squad are getting better and better - tomorrow could be the day!

The 2nd XV also welcome Canterbury, however they will be kick off at 2.30pm, as they look to continue their impressive run.

Meanwhile at Esher, the 3rd XV (The Mavericks) will be in action - hoping to build on last week's massive victorious scoreline.

Also a joyous welcome back to those lads who should know better - The Strollers, who will be welcoming Woking 2nd XV for a 3pm kick off.

Sunday sees the continuing march of Wimbledon Ladies XV as they travel to Drybrook for a 2.30pm kick off.

So quite the action-packed weekend! Do get your self to the club, to Esher or to Drybrook to cheer our teams on. Your support is always a real boost to our teams on the park!

If you are going to the club on Saturday, we respectfully ask that you leave your cars at home. Parking has always never been one of our strong suits and there are a number of activities at the club on Saturday morning. In light of this we ask - to maximise space please leave motor vehicles at home and if you must drive, please car share.

A further note, this time of thanks, to Ladies coach Saner, who emailed me the other day and donated some cracking prizes for the raffle at the Fireworks night - which by now I am sure you know is on October 28th. Tickets are available behind the bar. If you, or your company, think you can offer something as a prize , please do let me know. It really is great to see the community working together in this way.

Right - that's enough waffle from me. Team sheets (that I have - apologies Ladies) are below and OOOOOONLINE in the realms of social media. If you don't where - get with the program!!!

See you tomorrow.

Big Love
