Good Afternoon All You Mighty Dons!

Good Afternoon All You Mighty Dons!

Yeah its that good feeling again when you know you are 24 hours away from game time, and it's a weekend of contest more exciting than one of Keith Vaz's invitationals!
yes - we are doing topical humour now!

So what do we have on the menu this weekend?
The 1st XV are away at Sutton and Epsom for one of the season's most anticipated clashes. The old rivals were promoted last season and it is great to be able to rekindle that contest.
I would politely remind our supporters who are going to the game (and I understand there are a lot of you) to please remain respectful (as you always do) and sporting in your support no matter what you may hear. This cracker can get a bit hot under the collar for both players and fans alike - but we know we let our rugby do the talking.

If that wasn't enough to get you salivating like insert further political-based joke here, the 2nd XV also have their first away fixture with a trip to Chinnor Falcons. The first away trip is always one of the best experiences of the season and I expect to hear tales of new men "blooded" in the old ways.

Finally tomorrow we welcome the return of the Mighty 3rd XV - under the new management of John White. I hear he was selected as the only man good looking enough to replace last year's dashingly handsome manager.....ahem. Anyway they have their first fixture at home against London Media, and from what I have seen of this team sheet - it is bulking with muscle and talent that could only be afforded by..... insert out of favour politician here
We wish all our men's sides tomorrow the very best and 1s and 2s team sheets are below.

Sunday cometh and it also sees the Ladies with their first bus trip of the season with an away fixture at Drybrook. If you have never been on a Ladies away bus trip - it is an experience in itself - so if you fancy an away day - do get on board the fun bus.... if you dare! Good luck to the Ladies on Sunday.

Also on Sunday we see the second weekend of minis and youth to further the ambitions of our club going forward. Have a great morning to everyone involved.

Right - that's enough from me.
I'm off to clean the mustard off my tie in prep for lunch at Sutton and Epsom tomorrow. See you then.

Big Love
