Finally - the wait is over - it's time for the season to start - THIS WEEKEND.
And boy - do we have a line up for you - so pay attention chaps - it's going to be a cracker!

Fixtures
1st XV vs Shelford 3pm
2nd XV vs Effingham and Leatherhead 1.30pm

Ladies XV vs Hammersmith and Fulham 12.30pm

We also have the Old Johnnonians making their first appearance at their new home of WRFC as well - so please make every effort to welcome them to our club.

Matt Bond Memorial Cricket Match
The 20/20 cricket match in honour of Bondy will start at 12pm with the Wimbedon XI vs the Matt Bond XI

If you wish to join in and play a part - please let me know.

Supporters Lunch!
Well who doesn't like lunch?
As with ALL home games for the 1st XV the club will be inviting dignitaries and guests from our opposition to join us and extend a warm Wimbledon welcome.

It really is great value only £12 for two courses. Sit down is at 1.30pm for the 3pm k/o.
Blazers are optinal but do we ask that club men please do wear a club tie.

World Cup Warm Up Matches
After this feast of food and sport we will be showing the world cup warm up matches - and our Ladies XV are also have a massive social with their opposition. Fancy dress did reach my ears but my lips remained sealed.
It should be a cracking night so let's kick the season off with some style.

And Finally...
...albeit a bit late - but it gives me great pleasure to congratulate coach Nick Evans (currently playing with Quins against the USA stateside) on his recent wedding. We all wish him and his wife many congratulations and the very best wished for a long and happy life together.
