First of all massive apologies for being away the last few weeks. It has been a somewhat stressful time of late and so I have not been able to drop any emails out. Bad Badger!
Anyway what a nice week to come back to! Always good to have a clean sweep!

Here are the results from the weekend:

1st XV vs Westcliff win 39-15 match report Here

2nd XV vs Richmond win 55-5
3rd XV vs Mayfair Occassionals win 42-22

A cracking weekend for the men in claret and blue! On a swift aside - that was the last match for the 3rd XV this season - ending a very successful campaign. They finished second in the league - even having won ,more games than everyone else. Don't ask me how that works! Massive congratulations to Captain Taffy and all the lads in the side for a great effort.

Now onto this weekends fixtures where we see the ladies away with their last match of the season. There is a coach and supporters are most welcome!
1st XV vs East Grinstead (away)
2nd XV vs Sutton and Epsom (home) .... (oooooooh)
Ladies vs Bath (away) - Sunday

A quick note of recognition must also go out to the Old Jonnians lads who finished their season last Saturday with a win to see them crowned champions of their league and winning a promotion. Sadly one of their number received a very serious head injury but is now on the mend thankfully. From all of US at Wimbledon RFC to our favourite tenants - massive congratulations!

Right the big one next Saturday 16th April

This will be a FULL CLUB DAY. There will be minis games - the Presidents lunch and the final 1st XV home game of the season. We would expe3ct everyone to be there so we can raise funds going forward for our lovely new changing rooms. I will send out more details next week - but ensure it is in your diary.

The summer is also upon us and we have two major sevens tournaments coming up this summer - the WSM tournament and the Jack Fishwick tournament. All details will be coming out bext week - but watch this space and the facebook page/website for further details.
