Tad chilly eh? Anyway - apart from the Internationals last weekend which we shall swiftly gloss over... ahem - there was some senior rugby for the Dons last week with the Strollers playing at home ina top of table clash with Woking 2nd XV - which they ran out 69-0 winners - showing some real dominance. Great result chaps.

Now onto this week's fixtures.

1st XV vs Redingensians (away) 2.30pm
2nd XV vs Redingensians (away) 4pm
3rd XV vs Rosslyn Park (home) 1pm
Strollers vs Reeds Weybridge (away) 3.00pm

Now - "are the games on this weekend Badger?" I hear you cry!

Well - as it stands all games are on. The call for the Redingensians game will be made at 9.30am from their pitch inspectors. Please keep your eyes on social media for updates. If you are not sure - call someone who is.
For the strollers the call regarding the pitches will be sent to you following investigations by dictator-for-life President Keane.

Tour.....?

The golden words for any rugby player. Now I don't know if the fit and healthy youths of the men's senior section are touring this year, the Ladies XV are permanently on tour, but this year sees the vets and seniors on tour. You may cast your mind back to last summer when a French team came over to tour with our vets. Subsequently the old farts in claret and blue have been invited for a return fixture in Bordeaux this Summer on June 23rd. This will be part of an old farts 6 nations. To play the majority of the team have to be over 35 - we can usually squeeze in a few exceptions. However there will be room for non-playing members as well. This is for the senior men of the club so please get the date in the diary. A tour committee will be appointed shortly. That is all for now.
