First up - a massive apology from me your scribe. My missive that went out on Friday was utterly error strewn with the wrong location for the second XV and the wrong day of the week for the Ladies XV. Not my finest moment. It just goes to prove that badgers, like all men, cannot multi-task - so I will never try and scribe whilst moving house.

OK onto this week's results.
The 1st XV, with a much-improved performance from the week before, unfortunately fell short against Worthing losing 15-31. The match report can be found here

Also at home on Saturday, the Ladies XV fought hard in atrocious conditions to record a famous win over a much-vaulted Teddington side. A cracking start for their new coach! Unfortunately I don't have the scoreline to hand, although I have a feeling it was 26-12 . However, after last Friday's debacle, don't quote me on that!

At Ealing, the 2nd XV came up against a very strong Ealing Amateurs 1st XV and unfortunately went down 40-25.

Meanwhile, away at Camberley, the 3rd XV made their first appearance of the season. Unfortunately the Camberley 2nd XV were too much for the chaps in claret and blue who succumbed to a 56-10 defeat.

Still onwards and upwards.

Final notice from me - the ongoing saga of the supporters polo shirts. These should have all gone out now - we have 6 shirts unclaimed behind the bar - so please do go in and purchase yours. I am aware that some of these have been missent with the wrong sizes - please let me know if this is you or if you have not received yours and I will look to FINALLY resolve this in the next week.
