Well done Ireland

Good Morning Ye Mighty Dons!

Well what a weekend that was! The mighty All Blacks felled by the men in Green on a big night in Dublin! Suddenly we are all Ir4ish.... well maybe not all of us....

Anyway - let's have a recount of last weekend's Wimbledon fixtures.

Saturday saw the 1st XV travel to Brentwood for a tough away fixture. However the men in clarent and blue held firm for a deserved 17-29. The match report is not up at this time - so I shall be locating the web master and crank calling him for the rest of the week, pretending to offer him the role of Brexit secretary.
WEBMASTER EDIT - match report was published as soon as it was received and can be viewed here. I am not interested in Brexit Secretary but hereby propose Badger for the role - he's in the right party and is famously clueless, perfect candidate.

Saturday also the 3rd XV welcome Esher 3rd XV to Beverley Meads where they recorded a fine win of 55-19! Bravo chaps.

Sunday saw the Ladies XV take on top-of-the-table Plymouth at home in an absolute corker of a game, which saw our ladies pipped at the final post to record a 31-33 loss. This is a match report well worth reading. ........ also worth noting is that it arrived and was put up on the website on Monday.... ahem ahem!

Well that's your round up of Don's rugby from last weekend.

Another weekend beckons - watch this space!

Big love

Badger
