Pre season kicks off with a 55-12 win.

The Dons ran out victors 55-12 in a game of 4 quarters against Richmond RFC at Beverley Meads today. Whilst it may not have been the full 1st XV for Richmond they did give good account of themselves against a dominant Senior squad from Wimbledon.

An early 12pm kickoff was well attended by the rest of the squad players who had earlier blown the cobwebs out in an internal match at 10am.

"It was a good account by the boys. There were lots of positives to take into next week's pre season game against Esher. It's good to get the big win under our belts but we'll be back at work on Tuesday to iron out the areas we need to work on," Director of Rugby, Marc "Percy" Percival said.

"There is a great team buzz at the moment. Training is going well with record numbers attending Tuesdays and Thursdays with a gym conditioning session on Wednesdays included. The new faces are fitting in well and stamping their mark."

Next week sees the 1st XV and 2nd XV travel down the A3 to neighbours Esher. Kick off is set for 3pm.
