Wimbledon RFC has over 250 volunteers working behind the scenes to make the club such a success. As part of our development, we have identified that we need to do more to recognise their incredible hard work and on Friday 29th June, we hosted our first annual Volunteers' Celebratory BBQ. We welcomed over 60 volunteers to the Club for a free fizz reception and BBQ. It was an amazing opportunity to thank everyone for their hard work and touch base before the 2018/2019 season starts. There was a buzz of energy following Dick Dunford's talk about the work we are doing to prepare for the future and our vision to become the best new breed of multi sports club. We hope everyone enjoyed the evening and that this becomes a annual feature in our calendar.
