Wimbledon RFC enjoyed a coming together of all areas of the club in its first City Lunch held on Friday 1st December with over 70 guests. The event was held in the glorious setting of Brasserie Blanc on the Southbank and was a great start to the festive season. It was an excellent opportunity to socialise with rugby, and Wimbledon RFC, enthusiasts away from the Club. Attendees were treated to a delicious lunch and tales from special guest, Simon Shaw, about his rugby playing days. We are still in the process of counting how much this event raised but it was a huge success.

With thanks to James Boatman and the team at SNAP Sponsorship for organising the event, Gavin O'Callaghan (Corinthian Sports), Nick Fuller, Melquart AM, Paul Craig and Stef D'Anna for providing auction prizes and, last but not least, thanks to all those who attended.

We are already looking forward to next year!
