Wimbledon 22 - Havant 16

What a match! The game was a compelling contest with two fine teams going head to head throughout the entire 80 minutes

In the end the difference was a combination of the muscle and nonce of the Wimbledon pack.

Both teams knew that the result would significantly influence the ultimate league winner but neither knew that Camberley, the other contender to win the league, were down against Bournemouth and ended up losing the game 20 – 17

There are 4 games to go for the Wimbledon 1st XV squad with the home match v Camberley as the final league game on 11th March when we also celebrate the President’s Invitation Lunch
