Well here we are and it’s the first Friday for large numbers of the club. Loads of the younger members of the club are returning for their first weekend, the thirds are back in action and the Ladies team make a welcome return to competitive action. So let’s have a brief run-down of the fixtures and gear up for the weekend ahead. Team sheet are below for the 1s, 2s and the Ladies.

Tomorrow sees the 1st XV take on Worthing at home at 3pm. Be great to have a repeat of last week’s packed touchline to welcome our guests.

The 2nd XV are away at Ealing against their Amatuer 1st XV, also at 3pm.

The 3rd XV are away to Camberley with a very impressive line-up, captained by Jesse Muir. That should give you some idea of the quality in that side.

The Ladies XV take on Teddington at 3pm. This is also at home and it would be great to have a good packed touchline to cheer on our Ladies as they start their campaign. Word reaches my ears that there will be pub golf afterwards for the team, and those who think they are tough enough to drink them!

Now don’t forget to clear your diaries for the 28th October for the club’s fireworks display. Watch this space for further details over the next few weeks.
