The senior squad will kick-off proceedings with a preseason fixture away against Esher this Saturday the 17th at 12:15pm, before and internal squad game on Thursday the 22nd August. Both the 1st and 2nd Team will then host Barnes for their final preseason match the following Friday night the 30th starting at 7pm.

All 3 matches will play a significant role in gaining vital match fitness ahead of the season openers against London Irish Wild Geese (1st XV) and Bishops Stortford (2nd XV) on Saturday 7th September at home.

The club is delighted to announce that the bulk of the 2019/20 squad has been retained. Backs Phil Chesters, Ben Hough and Zak Vinnicombe as well as Forward Steven May have retired from the club. We wish them well and thank them for their service.

We are also excited to announce the signing of a number of new players. Watch this space in the coming weeks as we announce them.

Ahead of the preseason fixtures, Director of Rugby Collin Osborne said: “The squad have worked intensely since the beginning of July. They are now looking forward to putting that effort into live practice matches. The group is an exciting mix of returning Wimbledon players, as well as a group of new arrivals who are all pushing hard for a starting place. We cannot wait to get started.”
