With last week’s match at Hove postponed to Sat. 22nd – supposedly a week free of league fixtures – half of Wimbledon’s squad were unavailable for this re-arranged game.

There was no reporter present at the match but it is quite clear from the 27-13 scoreline that defeat under the circumstances was no disgrace; indeed, Wimbledon’s coach was was full of praise for the performance given by a truly makeshift team.

This coming Saturday 1st March, the regular first-teamers will return for the home fixture against Dover.

My weather guru assures me that it will be a glorious sunny day ideal for supporting the team form the touchline so get on down for the 2.30 pm. Kick off
